New Mexico Outdoor Festival and Skills Competition

Do you and your family have spring fever? The New Mexico Wildlife Federation invites outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to Legacy Ranch on April 4 for a daylong celebration of New Mexico’s outdoor heritage.
Attendees can experience hands-on demonstrations and expert-led sessions in fly fishing, wild game processing, long-distance shooting, and working with trained hunting companions. Competitive events include elk and turkey calling, archery, pistol shooting, and clay shooting.
A dedicated KidsZone offers interactive activities for younger participants, along with a scavenger hunt and all-day programming designed to spark curiosity and build outdoor skills.
The evening program features dinner, a live auction, and a concert featuring Max Gomez.
